Long Live Love was the song chosen by TV viewers for a pan-European song contest, with Olivia representing the UK. The album tracks include this and some of the other songs which were candidates for the contest; the tracks on the first side of the album are again soft ballads which characterised Olivia's work around this period. I Honestly Love You is a really special song that suits Olivia's voice perfectly and was a very successful single, still a favourite with which she likes to close her live performances.

Have You Never Been Mellow was an album by Olivia Newton-John, released in 1975. Both the title single and the album rose to the top of their respective U.S. charts (the Billboard Hot 100 singles charts and the Billboard 200 albums charts). The title song and its follow-up, "Please Mr. Please," were both top 10 on three Billboard charts: the Hot 100, Adult Contemporary, and Country.
